People are talking about Lessig's take on Palladium: Anti-Trusting Microsoft. So far, I like Seth Finkelstein's take on it the best.

I don't trust DRM in any form. Especially not hard ware based DRM which will be very hard to defeat. It's too tempting for Hollywood and the copyright cartel to move from "nice" DRM like Palladium (if, indeed, it is nice -- we have only Microsoft's word for that) to something which restricts open computing completely.

If and when Palladium comes out, I'll be hoarding hardware. Stuckist Net, here we come.
