Google App Engine Blog Guest Post

I’ve been working on Google App Engine projects in Best Buy’s BBYOpen group for almost a year now. My Rubyist cred took a bit of a tumble since I’m working in Python, but overall the App Engine platform is very nice (indeed, this blog is written using it).

One of the fun things about the gig is that we get to work pretty closely with Google. They’re interested in what we’re doing and want our feedback for how to make the platform better.

On that note, I was honored to be asked to do a guest blog post for the Google App Engine Blog highlighting some of the work we’ve been doing. The post is about pushing updates with the Channel API and you can download some demo source code to try it out yourself.
